Summary:
The Physical Security Project Manager will facilitate the development, implementation, and ongoing execution of multiple Asset Protection equipment projects, service programs, and systems.
This is accomplished by managing service and installation initiatives from end to end, acting as a subject matter expert, and working effectively with internal partners (i.
e.
, Operations, IT, HR, Purchasing, etc.
) and external resources (i.
e.
, vendors, service providers, contractors, etc.
) to execute projects, and monitoring to ensure all initiatives meet scope, timeline, and budget.
The Project Manager is also responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair/replacement of physical security equipment in existing locations and overseeing location-specific projects related to physical security equipment.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:

Writing and enforcing a standard for all new technical security installations, i.
e.
, camera systems, access device systems, alarm systems, etc.
including installation, wiring, and programing.
Working in conjunction with the Technical Security Coordinators of the Security/Risk Mitigation Department and MIS technicians to assure a smooth and seamless interface of existing systems and the installation of new systems.
Overseeing all new installations and in many instances, will involve actual installations, physical repairs, programming, and serve as an in-house technician.
Tracking and monitoring all elements of the project budget, including bid review, expenditure request, purchase orders issued, and forecasting.
Maintaining overall project schedules and planning to support Security Department strategy.
This includes balancing project schedules to ensure proper resource planning, workload considerations, and overall business impact.
Prioritizing special projects and requests based on immediate physical security concerns.
This could include the maintenance and repair of existing equipment, or the installation of new equipment/devices.
Traveling to specific sites and projects to walk scope with internal and external partners, reviewing completed work, or strategizing for future program-enhancements.
Other duties as assigned.
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, the successful candidate should possess:
Experience working with enterprise systems.
Experience working with Information Technologies and advanced knowledge on how those systems integrate with security equipment.
Experience in troubleshooting issues.
The ability to institute a regular maintenance schedule.
Organizational skills to track ongoing projects across 20 Great Southern facilities.
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong customer relations skills for both internal and external use.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and develop solutions.
Must be adaptable and able to improvise as needed to manage competing demands.
Education:
A two(2) or four(4) year degree in a related field of study.
Experience:
Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in security and monitoring systems and/or project management.
Or a combination of education and experience at the discretion of the Chief Security Officer.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, legal documents, industry standards, codes etc.
Must be an effective listener and communicator.
Math Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and proportions.
Reasoning Ability:
The ability to solve problems though careful analysis is critical to this position.
Must be able to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this position an individual should have functional knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word software.

Must be willing to frequently travel (50%) for projects at 20 facility locations.
