Looking for a challenging position with an exciting technology company? Working remotely in a team environment, the Web Developer will be responsible for designing and developing websites for clients. This role will actively build, maintain and improve websites for business clients in an agency setting. This role will provide the the right candidate with the opportunity to transition to F/T remote Web Developer.
Roles & Responsibilities
Works closely with current and future marketing team members
Builds responsive websites for law firms and other business clients
Utilize best practices to ensure proper SEO and site analytics
Develop a strong knowledge of the legal industry, to include legal specialties, practice management, legal marketing and business development methods for purposes of developing effective copy
Execute visual design and layout properly on all websites
Manage a busy queue and prioritize projects, meeting all applicable deadlines
Troubleshoot and perform routine site maintanence as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by the management team
Must be available from 830-530pm ET on work days

Required Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's Degree from a four year college
Thorough experience with WordPress including custom theme and plugin development
HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
LAMP environment experience
Photoshop, Illustrator experience
Desired Skills & Abilities
Experience with CSS pre-processors like LESS and SASS
Experience building responsive websites
Version control systems such as GIT
Comfortable using the terminal
Ability to execute on both visual design and layout
